for literacy we are learning about weather. We use crayon and dye to create a rainy day picture. first I used white crayon to draw the rain. Next I drew a rainbow with crayons, I had to make sure there were no white bits in the rainbow. After that I used different colors of dye to paint the cloudy dark sky, and here is my art
I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 8 and in 2021 I will be a year 9. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. leopard seal writing
leopard seals
In literacy we have been learning about Antarctica over the last couple of weeks.we went to Antarctica center for a school trip. we painted pictures of penguins. first i carefully sketched my penguin. then I painted the black feathers. when that was dry I painted the orange feathers and beak. lastly I painted the yellow feathers. I had to make sure I painted the feathers to look like real feathers.
Leopard seals use their powerful jaws and long teeth to kill smaller seals, fish, and squid. These effective predators that live in frigid Antarctic and Antarctic waters, they also eat penguins. They often wait underwater near an ice shelf and snare the birds just as they enter the water. After the penguin jumps off the ice the leopard seal trys to eat the penguin.
